Music on the Patio
Saturday May 28, 2-5pm: Kick off Memorial Day Weekend with some great music on the patio with Oklahoma-born, Virginia-raised singer-songwriter Pat Anderson. He’s a roots rocker with a strong affinity for Dylan, Springsteen, and Petty and possessed of the tough-minded country-rock sensibiliby of Todd Snider as well. Pat has spent a number of years honing his skills in Nashville, TN and we are thrilled to have him share his talents with us here at DuCard Vineyards. Don’t miss it! No cover.

Music on the Patio with Beleza
Sunday May 29, 2-5pm: That’s right- they’re back! And we’re so thrilled to have them back at DuCard to wrap up our Memorial Day Weekend celebration! Beleza exudes that sexy funky sambalicious flamenco soul music that you love to groove to. Whether you’re enjoying that Brazilian rhythm or the jazzy melodies you’ll love this duo and be asking for more! There’s no better way to spend the weekend than with some DuCard wine and Beleza music! No cover.

Stargazing Party at DuCard
Saturday June 4, 7:30-9:30pm: Presented by the Charlottesville Astronomical Society (CAS). There’s nothing like a little stargazing on a warm summer’s evening to really appreciate the universe we live in. Come enjoy an informational presentation by CAS followed by some truly awesome stargazing with telescopes in the light-pollution free mountains at DuCard. Feel free to bring out your own telescopes as well! Presentation (and wine tasting) regardless of weather. No cover.

Wineappalooza !
Saturday June 11, 12-7pm: It’s Baaaack! Our annual wine, music, food, crafts, and just all around fun festival is back for all to enjoy! We’ll have two powerhouse bands to entertain throughout the day: The Local Vocals website and Scuffletown website, along with an awesome menu of food from the local Pig & Steak Restaurant as well as numerous craft vendors with fabulous unique items for show and sale! $10 fee in advance or $15 at the door (includes DuCard logo wine glass only; regular tasting fees apply). Father's Day Cigar & Wine
Sunday June 19, 12-5pm: Come join Panacea Cigars as they show us how to pair cigars with wines and enjoy wine and cigar combo specials. Also enjoy music by local acoustic duo Grass Fed link as they treat us to their blend of old rock n roll, reggae with a little folk and a little groove. Treat dad to a day of wine, music, and cigars! No cover.

Saturday June 25, 2-5pm: Enjoy live music on the patio featuring live classic, soft rock, and contemporary style music by Burning Roots. A great way to spend the weekend in the mountains with hiking nearby, wine, food, music, and friends. Pets and picnics welcome too! No cover.

Dog Days of Summer
Saturday July 2, 12-6pm: Benefit for Madison County Animal Shelter. Bring the pooch - pet contests, prizes and more. Adoptable pets available too. Plus music on the patio by Tony Bruno and Jeff Roberts (2-5). No cover.

Pre-fireworks Party
Monday July 4, 4pm-dusk: Music on the patio featuring Tara Mills Band plus local BBQ. Hang out until fireworks down the street at dusk. Picnics welcome, pets too! No cover.

Vertical Tasting Event - Popham Run Red
Saturday July 16, 1, 3 and 5pm: We'll be tasting all the vintages of our Bordeaux blend, back to the first vintage (2005). Small group setting in our barrel room; limited seating; advance reservations. Limited quantities available for sale after tasting event. Details here.

Chocolate & Wine Pairings
Sunday July 24, 2pm: Sample a flight of Lindt's premium Excellence line of chocolates, presented by Lindt Master Chocolatier Ann Czaja. Each will be paired with a DuCard wine that best complements it. She will share with us the history of chocolate and talk about her work in making Lindt's fine chocolates. Limited seating, advance reservations required. Reservations here.

Saturday July 30, 2-5pm: Our friend Mattie Fuller is back to play guitar and sing. OUr first musician, back in the day, and always a favorite. Maybe take a stroll to the White Oak Canyon waterfalls and then come on over? No cover.

2nd Corps Wine Release Party
Saturday August 6, 1-6pm: We releae our new vintage of this Civil War Commemorative Wine, with the annual March on DuCard and reenactment by the Stonewall Jackson Brigade (March at 2 PM sharp). Fun for whole family. No cover.

Beat the Heat Party
Saturday August 20, 1-6pm: Come out to the mountains for some cool mountain breezes, chilled wines and great music in the dead heat of August. Bennie Dodd Band on the patio (http://www.samhillbands.com/bands/bennie/), plus local food available, lawn games, and vineyard and winery tours. No cover, dog friendly.
