Signature Viognier 2009
Elegant dry white wine with subtle aromas of peaches, honeysuckle and wildflowers that evoke summer mornings in the Virginia countryside. Barrel-fermented and aged in neutral oak to highlight character.
Pairings: scallops, crab cakes, Gouda cheese. $22
Gibson Hollow Viognier 2009
Crisp white wine with bold peach and lemon peel aromas, fermented in “off-dry” style and bottled for freshness. Based on historical name of our farm’s location.
Pairings: great with picnic fare or afternoon sipping by itself. $20
Sweet Virginia Vidal Blanc 2008
Dessert-style white wine that combines apricot and peach aromas with moderate sweetness on the palate. A full year’s bottle aging adds smoothness.
Pairings: rich cheese, vanilla ice cream or as an aperitif. $18
Popham Run Bordeaux Blend 2008
Rich red wine bursting with ripe cherry and raspberry aromas, and spicy, peppery character. Named for the stream that runs through the edge of the vineyard.
Pairings: pasta and red sauce, grilled kebobs, chicken dishes. $22
Virginia Native Norton 2008
Distinctive red wine with intense aromas of violet, coffee and grape, and deep inky-black color. Deemed “best of all nations” in late 1800s and now enjoying a resurgence in popularity.
Pairings: dark chocolate, steak, spicy ethnic foods. $20
